Somm's Table: Chile

Join us for our first Somm’s Table of 2026 on Saturday, March 21, at 3PM, to explore the diverse terroirs of Chile through an educational tasting that journeys from the coastal Casablanca Valley to the high-altitude Maipo Valley. This session highlights everything that makes Chilean wine unique: rediscover Carménère, the country’s flagship “lost” Bordeaux variety, alongside País and Cabernet Sauvignon; learn how the cold Humboldt Current and towering Andes Mountains create distinct microclimates; and experience a winemaking tradition dating back to the 16th century, preserved by Chile’s extraordinary geography.

Hosted by our in-house wine team in the cozy Wine Cellar, the event is capped at 16 guests and includes a pairing of specially prepared canapés. Enjoy four half-glass pours in a relaxed, small-group setting, savoring rare wines—from luxurious aged library selections to magnum bottles—alongside fellow enthusiasts.

Time needed to implement and make the wines means these long-aging wines are starting to reach their peaks now, so let's sip a few together and talk about their merits.
