Languedoc-Roussillon is France’s largest wine region, home to more than 50 varietals, most notably Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault. Its diverse geography spans coastal plains, rolling hills, and high-altitude plateaus, all shaped by a hot, sunny Mediterranean climate.
