SOMM’S TABLE: France's Languedoc Region

Languedoc-Roussillon is France’s largest wine region, home to more than 50 varietals, most notably Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault. Its diverse geography spans coastal plains, rolling hills, and high-altitude plateaus, all shaped by a hot, sunny Mediterranean climate. The result is excellent wines of great value—many of them organic and biodynamic—with flavor profiles marked by red fruit, spice, and the herbal notes of rosemary, thyme, sage, lavender and juniper that define the region.

Join us for The Somm’s Table, a curated tasting experience in our Wine Cellar led by in-house Sommeliers Tyler and April. Enjoy thoughtfully paired canapés from Executive Chef Vincent Celeste as we explore the wines of Languedoc-Roussillon.

The experience is $75 per guest, with seating limited to 16. Reserve your spot today through the button below or on OpenTable. Please note that cancellations within seven days are non-refundable. For questions, contact April at winecellar@washingtoninn.com or call 609.884.5697 ext. 1.
