Over forty years ago, Phil Coturri brought the spirit of his “back-to-the-land” community into his life as a winegrower, converting Dos Limones Vineyard to organic viticulture. He soon discovered that organic farming and healthy, enlivened soils offered more than environmental and agricultural benefits. They allowed the vineyard’s true sense of place to shine through in the wines. Winery Sixteen 600 was born from that philosophy, connecting Phil Coturri’s enduring legacy in California wine with his vision of expressing the vineyard from vine to glass. At its heart, Sixteen 600 celebrates what wine does best: bringing people together, creating community, and making every moment worth savoring.
