Bring Your Favorite Wine:  Bring your cellar to our restaurant. Every Sunday, we'll offer you the opportunity to bring your favorite bottle and enjoy it. There is no corkage fee, and you will be able to enjoy your wine in our best Reidel Crystal glasses.

Nutcracker is Sweet

Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy invite children to the Washington Inn’s annual Nutcracker Tea. At this festive holiday celebration, children and their families enjoy a traditional children’s tea luncheon and then gather around the crackling fire to hear the Mouse King tell the story of The Nutcracker. A grand performance of The Nutcracker by fairy dancers and ballerinas from the Jersey Cape Dance Studio complete the magical afternoon.

Vineyard Weddings at the Beach

Passionate, sensual, and romantic … a vineyard wedding is a sophisticated, elegant, and unique wedding site location. That’s why the Washington Inn has begun to cater wedding receptions and parties at the Isaac Smith Vineyards, a beautiful, picturesque vineyard site in Cape May.
  

The 5-acre vineyard located on Seashore Road is the area’s newest and best kept secret location for weddings. Acres of vineyards planted with plump Chardonnay and Merlot grapes set a romantic landscape backdrop that is not usually seen at the shore. A circa 1820 farmhouse, herb garden, and fountained pond add to the charming, pastoral atmosphere. Weddings and events for up to 200 guests can be accommodated in an old-fashioned red-roofed Amish barn or outside under festive tents.

Wine has long symbolized generations, growth, harvest, and celebration, so we are especially excited to be hosting weddings at this gorgeous site. As full service caterers with over 20 years experience, we bring outstanding food, gracious service, and elegant presentation to each event we cater. Call our catering team for information.
